Portal and Content Management Practice (PCM)

Shridhar: Shridhar Rajgopalan is the Global Head & General Manager for Portals, Content Management and User Experience practice which is a part of Business Technology Services (BTS) group focusing on Financial Service, Technology, Media and Communication Industries at Wipro Technologies, a $4.3 billion global IT services provider. BTS delivers superior business outcomes for customers through industry and technology expertise empowering enterprises with business process innovation, enterprise agility, collaboration across the ecosystem and utilization of information as a strategic asset.

Shridhar heads the practice providing consulting, business process and technology solutions and accelerators in solution design, development, integration and delivery in areas of Portals and Content Management. The practice also provides human computer interaction specialization

Shridhar has over 14 years of enterprise IT experience; including consulting, sales, business management, large account solutions, application and technology development that spans multiple industry segments.

Since joining Wipro in 1999, Shridhar has been involved in defining enterprise architectures for large financial customers, provided consulting in outsourcing feasibility, and management of Foreign Exchange Trading solutions. He has also been responsible for leading the enterprise architecture practice for financial services customers. As head of US BTS regional sales, he was responsible for customer relationships, acquiring new customers, increasing BTS sales and coming out with distinct consulting propositions to the customers. Shridhar has also led the large account strategy for BTS driving pro-active propositions and solutions, improvement in partnership index, revenue growth, and improving the large engagement index.

Prior to Wipro, Shridhar worked with TCS for close to 4 years across multiple application development and re-engineering initiatives in mainframe for financial customers. As part of TCS’s Artificial Intelligence team he was leading the Rule based interpreter development. As a consultant, Shridhar has also worked for IBM in developing a product in supply chain management.

Shridhar holds a Masters degree from Indian Institute Technology, Chennai, India.

Pavan: Pavan is a Solutions Consultant in our team with focus on Web 2.0 related technologies & Portal Development Work. His technical interests include building expertise on emerging technologies in Portals like IBM Websphere Portal Server, MashupCentre, Inforsphere MashupHub & Web 2.0 like Serverside Mashup, Clientside Mashup, AJAX, Mashup Platforms.

Vijesh: Vijesh is a Project Engineer in our team focussing on AJAX and latest web development over the years. He is interested to work in the latest web technologies and web-based frameworks. In his leisure time, he likes to read books and play cricket.

Razak: Razak is a software engineer in our team & he is having focus on web development. His technical interests include programming in Java & PHP. In his free time, he likes to read books & listen to music.

Vinu: Vinu is a Project Engineer in our team with focus on Rich internet applications using Ajax and other web technologies. His technical interests includes Java Programming, Javascript and other web based frame works. In his free time he likes to read, listen to music, watch television.

Chandru: Chandru is a Senior Visual Designer who is taking care of GUI part. He done his master’s in Visual Art from ChitraKala Parishath, bangalore. basically he is a Sculptor and his hobbies are listening music, photography, creating small videos and learning latest technologies

Khader: Khader is a project engineer, working for developing some gadgets for this website. His technical interest includes programming most interactive web applications with a rich user interface. His hobbies are playing chess, gardening and reading books. He endeavours to learn latest technologies..

Ankur: Ankur is a Project Engineer in our team with focus on Web 2.0 and other web technologies. His technical interests includes Java Programming, Javascript and always enthusiastic in learning other latest technologies. In his free time he likes to read, listen to music, play chess and cricket.

Pinky: Pinky is a Project engineer in our team with focus on Web 2.0 and latest Web technologies. Her technical interests includes programming in C and Java. In her free time she likes to listen to music, read books, and does social service activities.
